i'm a male and I have a problem hanging out with my friends/students in japan high school.

i'm a male and I have a problem hanging out with my friends/students in japan high school.?
i'm a foreign high school student. I live with my parents and I have been studying in Japan for 4 years, and lately I have a problem hanging out with my friends/making friends . I noticed that my old friends in school don't treat me the same way as before. I felt that they've changed after we all became 2nd yr high school students. One day, I tried to eat lunch with them, but they prefer eating lunch with their other friends. That day, I tried to hang out with them (including with their other friends) but it's just too hard for me to communicate with them. I had difficulty understanding the topic of their conversation (sports,etc...) . Sometimes, I want to enter in the middle of their conversation, but I feel ashame because maybe they will not understand my japanese. I don't know what to do....I mean, why? I was kind to them and I didn't show any bad style to them when were still 1st year students. But why is this happening? can anyone help me? I don't want to be alone in school.

Jerry Sometimes there is no real way of understanding High School Teen social problems. You have the option of asking your friends what is wrong and if you feel that they don't want to hang then find new friends...life is too short to worry about that...Im sure that there are other kids that would love to chill with you...but keep in mind that you cannot force your friends to want to hang with you...be polite and honest in your dealings with them (so they don't have a reason to not like you) but if they want space from you then give it to them. Don't be hurt Jerry, Im sure they arent trying to be mean...but the language thing could be alienating them or it could be that youre all growing apart...but you go to another group and make friends...whatever you do, do not sit by yourself and make it worse. You sound like a good kid, don't feel down about it... but if you make it worse by sitting by yourself and looking miserable, no one will eat lunch with you. Good luck Jerry and I hope it works out!
